A home in a tranquil setting houses two of my most memorable marine pieces of recent times.

The first painting in this pair is a modern take on the same theme. Presenting a striking image in the entrance hall, the image consists of a series of J-class sails sweeping across the canvas.

The second piece is carefully positioned over a softly finished cabinet, is a piece that I remember well. Over a period of 2 months I carefully nurtured this J-class image. For me they are unquestionably the most beautiful òcean yachts with their glorious sails. The texture may have taken a long time to create, but it adds to the drama.
