Robin manages to complete a small number of large scale marine pieces. Each piece has a great deal of content. Averio is described as ‘The Venice of Portugal’. A wonderful array of colours are employed to portray the canvas sails of the fishing boats. A combination of techniques applied with both brush and knife creates a vibrant feel of movement across the canvas surface.
