Sapphire is named after the smallest of the four inner moons of Jupiter. I have blended blues and creams across a heavily textured core before plunging into a midnight blue mystery. Large paintings need a quality structure behind them and this painting is built to last. Finished with two coatings of UV varnish, it is also well protected. It measures 152 cm x 76 cm on deep stretcher bars.
